What an interesting perspective given that you are not Jewish but identified as such by others, and thus have had to tolerate anti-semitism in all forms (subtly or not). When my husband and I were house hunting, he only wanted to live in Locust Valley (he was a Boston "waspy" Jew which meant he had to hide his Jewishness growing up) but since I only knew the "out and proud" way that Roslyn jews lived, I didn't want to feel like the Other. You related it back to Iran and Kanye so perfectly too. So love these Sunday posts.
